Located alongside the Chattahoochee River and a mere ten miles northwest of Downtown Atlanta, Viningscontains the perfect blend of Southern charm and modern day sophistication. Home to over 9,600 residents, Vinings is an unincorporated town that was originally known as Crossroads and then Paces back in 1830. One of the best aspects of the Vinings area is its proximity to the Chattahoochee River, with its picturesque views and plethora of outdoor activities such as fishing, picnicking and hiking trails. The Silver Comet Trail is a 12.8 mile former rail trail that runs west and north through Georgia to Alabama and Tennessee.
